to handle cargo. Some refused to do so, but the Union instructed them to continue work pending the Unisn'e decision as to the line of action to be followed. . . It is j-reported that a number of the Orama's pasicngers en routo to New Zealand are stranded, owing to the dielocation of the steamqr service. Thongh a number havo money in New Zealand banks, they are provided with only sufficient ready cash—they were reckoning without strike delays—to land them in Now Zealand. Others are in a etill worse case, all their, available funds having been exhausted in paying their board.
