CITY COUNCIL EMPLOYEES. RETURN TO WORK.
The drivers in the employ of tie City Council who went out on strike on Monday returned to work yesterday. Every man went .back including the few agitators among the men and the. union officials. The strike was of short-lived duration, and never bad the real support of tbe men. On Monday afternoon, before tho first day of the strike was over, they signed on again, and resumed work as usual yesterday mora- ■ ■ - ' "••Everything is now working like clockwork," said the Mayor, to a "Press" representative yesterday.
