THE QUESTION OF A NEW UNION.

While the drivers in Christchurch are going "out, the driving trouble is practically settled elsewhere, and will be similarly settled here should they remain by the formation of a new union. Mr Cooper, of the Employers' Association, yesterday received the following telegrams from Auckland and Wellington respectively: "From the Auckland Carriers' Association: Our drivers are returning in opposition to their union Mere men offered than required to-day." Mr Pryor telegraphed: "New Wellington Drivers' Union has now 150 members; includes many of the old union."
