Commenting on Barry's refusal to accept Albany's challenge, the "Sportsman" says that England had no hand in passing the Australian championship rules. England is entitled to confideration, especially a_ gate-money practically does nob exist on the _"h_r_ee. The paper considers that £200 a-side is insufficient.
