"80-PEEP" PANTOMINE.
A pnntomine at popular prices is promised Christchurch playgoers hy Messrs George Stephenson and Alf Linley, when the Royal Pantomine Company makes its first appearance here on Thursday next at the Theatre Royal. For this tour a company numbering over fifty people is being brought to tho Dominion, all of whom havo had experience in this class of entertainment. New costumes have been designed by the well-known theatrical costumier, Zcnda, of Sydney, and new scenery has been painted by that wellknown artist, Mr Harry Whaite. "BoPeep will bo the opening bill hero, and it is claimed to bo filled with catchy songs, entrancing ballets and marches, and diverting specialty acts. The ballet is led by Fraulein Hertlez, a Continental dancer, specially engaged for the tour. Mr Whaite is said to have excelled himself on the scenery, especially in tho transformation scones, "The Four Seasons," which will be shown in "80-Peep." The music is by Mr Harry Taylor, and he also is responsible for the libretto. A matinee will be given on Saturday afternoon, when children will be admitted half-price to all parts of the houso. The box plan is now open at the Dresden.
