(PSESS ASSOCIATION TXUST.RAM.) AUCKLAND, November 22. • : In tfie Polico Court, William Windsor was charged with threatening behaviour in Symonds street. It -wis. stated that accused, addressing a store-* keeper who had interfered with a crowd; that was chasing some- men, remarked to other men, "Mark him, boys," soft "I'll do for you to-night." This vnix'' denied by accused and several witnesses. The Magistrate said he did not believe tho evidence for tho defence, and was going to severely discourage ant attempt at perjury under the circumstances, lie imposed a fino of £5 an<* costs, or 14 days' hard labour Bruce Watson, who while drunk abused spocial constables and damaged some tar barrels, was fined £3, and ordered' to pay 80s damage.
