ROYAL ARTILLERY BAND.

ITS NEW ZEALAND TOUR

(BPECIAL TO "THB PBESS.") DUNEDIN, November 23. The first concert given in New Zealand by the Royal Artillery Band on its way to the .Auckland Exhibition was played in the Garrison Hall last night. There was a/Very large audience, and the performance evoked the greatest enthusiasm. A, particularly fine programme of a widely varied nature was given, and several repetitions and extra items were played. At the conclusion of the concert the band was heartily cheered by the audience. A second concert.was given in the afternoon at the Caledonian Grounds, between, five and six thousand people being present. Tho band leaves Duuedin to-morrow morning for the north, playing in tho evening at Timaru, at Christchurch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and at Wellington" Thursday and Friday, reaching Auckland on Saturday.

The band -trill reach Christchurch tomorrow evening, and will.give tw"o con-; certs in King Ed ward Barracks. The first will bo held to-morrow evening, and the second on "Wednesday aftenoon, at 2.30 o'clock, that hour having been fixed to enable the band to catch the Wellington steamer.
