THE NATIONALIST LEADER.
MR. BONAR LAW RECALLS SOME HISTORY. ("Tinie»"-Sydney "Sun" Special Cable.) (Received November 33rd, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 22. The Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Gaelic League are forming rifle corps to co-operate with the citizen army now recruiting in Munster, Leinster, and Connauglit. Mr W. Moore, Unionist member for tho North division of Armagh, speaking at Ballymoonoy, snid that only the exclusion of tho wholo of Ulster for all time from the operation of tho Homo Rule Bill would bo acceptable to Unionists.
HISTORY
Mr Bonar Law, speaking at a Unionist demonstration at Birmingham, alluded to Mr Redmond's protest against dragging tho Crown into tho Home Rule controversy. He recalled that twelve years ago Mr Redmond assailed tho Dublin Corporation for debasing itself at tho feet of Queen Victoria, and said that. members of tho House remembered that when the Army was defeated in South Africa and soldiers were • lying dead on the battlefield, the Nationalists raised exulting shouts of triumph. A man with this record was now urging the Government to use troops to shoot down loyalists in a country where tho National Anthem was derided. If the Nationalists thought that soldiers were going on such an errand, they wero mistaken.
In conclusion, Mr Law said he thought a general election was not far distant.
