RAILWAY MISHAP.
ENGINE FALLS INTO A LAKE
(By Cfcble.—Picee Association—Copyright.) OTTAWA, November 21. The engine of the first section of the Canadian-Pacific Transcontinental train fall into a lake east of Fort William, after it had jumped the tracks. The fireman was drowned but the driver leaped clear and saved his life. /
The remainder of tihe train stayed on the track, otherwise tho loss of life might have reached hundreds, as the train was crowded vrifch passengers.
