UNION ROWING CLUB. The rowing off of the life members' double sculis iace wa« concluded on Saturday tvening. The racing was not of the besl order, owing to a. number oj the crews neglecting , training. The following are the rcsulte: — A. Freeman and E. M. Ma-saon d«feated FD. Cronin arjd E. P. Machen; this wae ft I hard tussle, and won by a length. H. Gib--1 6on and B. Mahon beat R. Mey« and W. Otley. A hard "SO," won by two length*. a. Freeman and E. 1L llosson be»t G. Wilson and G. Watson. An easy win. Froal h«*t: Freeman beat Gibson. X good race to CowUshaw's. Freeman then drawing out aad t wincing c-aeily.
