Cheese—Tho market is steady. New Zealand 04s to 655. WHEAT AND FLOUR. Wheat. —The market is tirm. Variable reports have been received of tho Argentine crop, but there, is little doubt that it will be below the average. The drought in India is becoming serious. Cargoes are firm, and sellers are asking 3d advance. For roost cargoes 36s' is asked, but buyers are slow to follow the advance. About (5800 tons of a Victorian January steamer shipmont have been sold at 35s Cd, and another cargo at 365. Australian on spot is in limited supply, and is nominally 37s Gd to 38e. New Zealand is exhausted. Flour—The market is quiet, f&icels of Patents nearly duo sold at 24s "id to 24s 9d, c.i.f. OTHER PRODUCE. Oats —The market is slow and unchanged. Beans —The market is firm. New Zealand, ex store, 375. Peas—The market is slow. Firet Maples 445.
