C"Timt*"-Sjdc«y ••Sun" Special C»bVe) LONDON, November 20., Larkin. speaking -at the Albert Hall meeting, calied Sir Edward Carson "'that cadaverous lawyer who took ill at the psychological moment. He de-scribed the Irish Press as "the most vicious, intolerant, and stupid any country was ever cursed with." Larkin described tho Chief Secretary for Ireland, Mr Birrell, s» an idler, loafor, and trickster, who should be shuffled out of the pack. "Tho Liberals,' , he said, "are humbugs and unctuous hypocrites." When the meeting heard that the Trades Union leaders had deferred the proposed National Conference until December 9th, a storm of hissing and booing swept the hall, and tho proceedings were suspended for five minutes until the rage of the audience was spent.
