NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A special parade of the St. John Ambulance, Brigade will be held at 3 p.m. to-day. The Veterans' Association invites its members to attend the funeral of the late Mr Charles F. Morgan, on Sunday, at 3 p.m. The Christchurch Mandolin Orchestra will give, a farewell concert to Mr Joseph Wright, in the King's Theatre, on Saturday, the 29th inst. The forty-ninth anniversary services of the Addiiigton Methodist Church will be celebrated to-morrow. -The preachers will be the Rev. C. H. Laws, 8.A., in the morning, the Rev. Basil Metson in the afternoon, and the Rev. W. Laycock in the evening. The anniversary concert will take place on Tuesday evening next. The deaconess anniversay of Wesley Church, East belt, will be celebrated on Sunday. At the evening service addresses will be given by Sister Ruth amd the Rer. W. A. Sinclair.
