KEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. (rEESS AE3OC7ATION TF.T.FGRAM.I WELLINGTON, November 19. The annual meeting of tho Council of. the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was bciv* to-night. The balance-sheet had not been prepared, co the consideration of the annual report and the election of officers wcto postponed ■until a special meeting lo be held on Monday e7cning. Other business •was proceeded with. Thcee present were: — Sir A. A. Jlarryatt, president (in the chair), Messrs W. Larkin, J. H. Pollock, A. Daviee, C. E. Bridge, B. Guise, J. Cusack, end W. H. Pollock. The chairman, m referring to tho visit of the American athletes, etated that there was * good deal of -uncertainty as to the exact dates of the Americans' tour of the various centres. The team, consisting of Tompleton, Power, Caughcy, Rosenbergcr, and the Manager, Colonel Sidney Peirotto, left San Francisco in the Tahiti on. November 12th, and are expected to arrive in Wellington on x/t----cember 3rd. The tour wiil commence in Christchurch on December 13th, and afterwards the following dates have been arranged:— Invercargill December 17th, Duncdin December 20th, Wellington December 26th aod 27th, Masterton Jan-aary Ist, Wanganui January 3rd, Palmerston North January Bth (this date has not vet been fina'ly accepted), Auckland January 10th, Rotorua- January 14 th (this date ha» not yet been finally accepted), and Hamilton January 17th. The team will !?ave New Zealand on January 19th, and arrive in SvdntT on January 23rd. Mr Marryatt stated that he did not knovr exactly what date the team wished to leavo Australia. All that was known was that they desired to arrive in San Francisco on their return fey the end of March. There wae ample time for all th* dates in Auitrali* to be filled in.
