CASUALTIES.
A collision between a motor-car driven by Mr Hamilton, builder, and a milk cart driven by Mr F. E. Woodham, of Clifton, occurred on the Sumnor Toad yesterday morning. Mr Hamilton was thrown from the oar and badly shaken, while the car was severely damaged. The milk cart was not very much the worse for tho collision, but tho horse suffered some very bad outs. Dt. Line attended to Mr Hamilton, nnd; he was afterwards removed to town for further treatment.
(FAS 99 ASSpCUTIOW TILZQJUM.) AUCKLAND, November 20. A case of suicide occurred at Newmarket this afternoon, when Mary Alice Haro, wife of Frederick W. Hare, schoolmaster, hanged horsoif in. her home. Mr Hare left the Jiouso at about 8 a.m. k> attend school. His wife seemed in her usual good health and perfectly happy in the companionship of their little daughter, aged about tho years. On returning to the houso at about 6 p.m. Hare iras able to enter the front door, hut lie found tho sitting-room <loox locked. He oould heax Jiis child crying, but coij.'d obtain no response to his calls for hie wife. H© rushed outeide and broke tho -window, and upon entering found his wife bating by'the'neck from the door, and his little girl crying near by.
