BRITISH POSTAL OFFICIALS.
Mr H. L. Samuel, PostmastnrGeneral, in receiving a postal deputation, rejected a demand for an' increase of fifteen per cent, involving an extra two and ft half millions per anmim. Ho said he was willing to grant concessions beyond tho Holfc Committee's recommendations involving an extra £100,000. Hβ added that in the ovent of a strike the country would insist on steps being taken rendering a recurrence impossible.
