WELLINGTON, November 23.

Early this morning a fire was discovered at the back of the stores shed at the Petono Railway Workshops. The wall of tho shed, which contains a valuable stock of rnilway requirements, including inflammable material such as kerosene, turpentine, and lubricating oils, was on fire. It was evident that an incendiary had been at work. Some cotton waste- found near whero the fire was burning was soaked in kerosene. Fortunately the damage done 1 was trifling, ns the flnmes wcro quickly checked by the watchmen, of whom Severn 1 have been emnloyed during tho present labour troubles.
