THE FELLMONGERS' CASE.
TO THE EDITOR OV "THE TRESS.' , Sir, —In the natural course of events we should have "in our employ eighty to one hundred men, but through the action of the Tied Feds strikers we have had to close down. In Lyttelton we have several hundred bales of wool ready for shipment, also the same waiting to he landed to bo worked at Belfast for shipment. We can safely say there' are other firm's in the same situation. We notice the executive of tho Fellmongers , and Skinners' Union has voted £50 towards the fund for the strikers; so much for trying to keep members of their own union out of. work. Employers must be perfect demons by the tongues of Agitators, secretaries of unions, ministers of Teligion, and members of Parliament—Canterbury ones at that. As employers we will never knuckle down to the Federation of .Labour, governed by such men we have heard about in Wellington and other places.— Yours, etc.. WM. NTCHOLLS AND SONS. Novemer JBth.
