Tbe Government has sanctioned a loan to the Company -_f £7000, secured on the Company's undertaking, on the basis of £ for £ contribution on expenditure incurred by tbe Compafcy, after the dato ths agreement was entered into with the Government. It is necessary, therefore, to mako the call to obtain the Government grant. The latest advice from the Mm© Superintendent indicates that the Cassius writings are again free of water, and that he is resuming regular mining operations immediately."
