ROYAL ARTILLERY BAND.

Very large attendances aro expected ait the King Edward Barracks to hear tho two concerts to be given nest Tuesday evwning and Wednesday afternoon by tho Royal Artillery Baud, which is stopping overnight in Christchurch on its way to the Auckland Exhibition. The band is reputed to be tho finest military band In Great Britain, and is declared to have few serious rivals for supremacy in tho world. The fact that tlie band has to reach Auckland before December Ist. and that it is very strictly limited for time, will make it impossible to give more than a very few concerts outside Auckland, and will absolutely prevent it fulfilling any New Zealand or Australian engagements after it has finished its eight weeks' season nt the Exhibition.
