Resolutions were asking tor lietter railway facilities for trucking fat stock. ref|ue.stinp; Parliamentary regulation ot the speed <>i motor cars, deprecating thr> purchase of private estates by the Government while so much waste land is awaiting settlement, protesting against the system of taxing farmers on unimproved values, and against continued increases being made by the Valuation Department on unimproved values ot rural land; and urging the more effective carrying out of the Noxious "Weeds Act and greater secrecy of the ballot. Mr J W. Jones was elected president.
