THIRD GRADE.

St. Albans had scored US, 484 for three wickets, against Rieearton A 94. The former carried their second innings total to 168 (Gerard 32, Martin 16). Brinsden captured six wickets. Riccarton requiring 193 to win wore all out for 96 (Caygill 17, Boys 31, Jones 12). Rix with four wickets and Martin with three, were the best howlers. St. Albans B had a big lead over East A, having scored 269 to East's 103. On Saturday East were all out for 139 (Clarke. 34, Jacombs 44, Neale 14, McNae 1.5, and Wright 23). Labatt, O'Brien, and Garrard—the latter getting four for 6 —were the best bowlers. St. Albans won by an innings and 27 runs. West Ohristchurch B, having scored 212 for seven wiokete against East oiii-istchurch B's 71, continued thoir innings and wero all out for 267 (Hincksman 50 not out and Clarke 18). In their second innings, Kast maSe 103, Coi'bett 55, Twyneham 34, Fraser 33, JK. L. "Washer 39. Johnston bowled splendidly, getting eight wicKete. West won by an innings and 3 runs. Riccarton B had notched 302 against West Christchurch A, who had made 9 without loss. On Saturday the latter made 126 (Holland 26, Lucas 11, Thompson 29, Tillman 12, Jolly 16, Everest 17). Smith and Sinclair were the best bowlers for Riccarton, whilst Mosley and Fleeto for West bowled well. West Christchurch followed on, and were all out just on call of time for 94 (Rolland 17, Loose 26, Thompson 10, Jolly 12). Luttrell and Smith were the most successful bowlers. Riccarton won by 82 runs. Linwooo B continued thoir first innings against Sydenham B, who had made 193 with one wicket down for .50. They carried the total to 96 (Fox 30. C. Evans 29 Bowlkcr 13, Winchester 12). Sydenham replied with 69 for six -wickets in their second innings, the innings being declared closed (Hill not out 24, Roive 27). Linwood, in their second innings, realised 93 for seven wickets (Winchester 23. Wilson 18, Harrison 12 not out, Shanks 19, Matthews -not out 13). Sydenham won on tho first innings by 97 runs.
