WILLIAMSON MUSICAL COMEDY COMPANY.
Tho new pieco. "The Rod Mill.*' which will form, the inaugural production of th© Williamson Musical Comedy Company at tho Theatre Royal on. Monday night, is described as a .Dutch musical play. Tho score is by Victor Herbert, composer of ''Tho Belle of Sow York" and "Tho Fortune Teller."' Tho locality of the play affords considerable scope for tho introduction of picturesque scenery and quaint costumes, and tbe opportunity, it- is said, is fully taken advantage oi. 1110 ntw American comedian, Mr John Ford, is reputed to be not only a clever comedian, but an excellent dancer. Mr •Charles A. Loder, another performer new to us here, brings with him oxcellent credentials, and the rest of the characters in the piece are said to bo well suited in their respective parts. In the finale to the first act there is a dramatic sensation, in which Grotclien the heroine and her lover escape from tho mill by mean- of one of tho revolving sails. "The -led Mill" will be played for four nights, and will bo succeeded by "The Prince of Pilsen." The plan of reserved seats for the season is now open at Milner and Thompson's.
