WANGANUI, February 18. Great interest is taken in the Champion-, chip Regatta to-morrow, for which, record entries have been received, including eleven for the Junior Clinker, ten for the Maiden, and seven for the Champion Fours. The pjesent champions (Kawatiri) are most fancied for the latter event. The weather has been delightful for the past week. The liver is as smooth as a mill-pond, and the crews are putting in a large amount of work. Representatives are present from Wellington, Christchurch, Blenheim, Westport, Auckland, and Petone, in addition to three Wanganui Clubs.
