The course is just now in excellent older, qnd aa a number of high-class performers are engaged in tho leading evente Rome fust times are sure to be recorded. On Saturday Kibbonwood will make an attempt to reduco Fritz'o Australasian mile record of 2.13. Racing will etart on both dajre at 1 o'clock. Our contributor suggest* the following as likely winners:—Maiden Handicap, Valmond nnd Huon King; Spreydon Handicap, McKinley and Wild Berry; Lincoln Handicap, Lillian D. and Porewiti; Ladies' Bracelet, The Orphan and Laughter; Addington Handicap', Verax and Harold C; IXftlswell Handicap, Comrade; Cash Handicap, Naughty Oirl and Beautiful Bells; Electrio Handicap, Val and Pcrcwiti.
