THE MELBA SEASON.
To-morrow night will mark an era in the musical history of Christchurch by the appearance at the Canterbury Hall of the celebrated canbitrice Madame Melba. It is a regrettable fact that Mr Musgrove is only abe to arrange for one concert, as the appearance in our midst of so celebrated an artiste cannot but fail to awaken the greatest possible interest amongst the levers of music. Madame 'Melba will arrive by the express to-night, and will be welcomed by the Mayor and members of the City Council.
