POLLARD'S OPERA COMPANY.
The Pollards open a farewell season of six nights at the Canterbury Hall next Monday evening, when they will produce "The Toreador," an entirely new and original musical play, by James T. Tomsen and Harry Nioliolk, music by Ivan CaryU and Lionel Monckton "Tapu," a Maori comic opera, also new to diristohurch, will be staged during the brief season Mr Frank o'Sullivan, the representative of the Pollard Company, arrived from the North yesterday to make the necessary preliminary arrangements for the opening night. The plan of reserved eeata will be opened at Milner and Thompson's to-morrow morning.
