The Wellington correspondent of "The t Press" telegraphs that the Ag>ent-General is now endeavouring to obtain in England a suitable successor to Mr Tunbridge. Should the position again become vacant during the present Government's term of office, it will probably be filled by appointing one of the officers of the New Zealand police force.
