The catalogues close art 6 p.m. to-day. n A field trial of the Osborne Columbia reaper and binder will take place on the farm of Mr James Sproule, Ohoka, on Monday next, at 11 a.m. As will be seen by a notification elsewhere a numbex erf dairy farms in the R&ngitikei district will be offered for sale by auction at Marton on Thursday, March l&tih, at 2 p.m., at Mi !R. The carnival of the East Christohuroh Amateur Swimming Ohib will be held in the baths of the East Ghristchurch school this afternoon, commencing at 2.30 o'clock.
