MINING NEWS.
The Welcome Company's dredge was stopped at eight o'clock on Thursday night, owing to flood*. The secretary of the Three Mile Greenstone Company reports that the dredge wae stopped on Monday and Tuesday on account of the ladder being bent. Work wae resumed on Tuesday night. An Auckland telegTam states that the Moßowai return for five weeke is £763 IBs 6d from 891 ton 9 of ore.
