In conseftnence of the attitude of the Auckland Hospital with regard to infectious diseases, which has resulted , in the dosing of i-ie Infectious Diseases Hospital there, toe Minister of Public Health, has telegraphed for a confirmation of the report that the Board is refusing ceeee for treatment. This will be followed by further advice to the effect that Cabinet has decided to pneh on with the conetruotion of a permanent hospital at a cost not exceeding £6000, charging the cost to the local bodies concerned.
