TREATY OF ARBITRATION RATIFIED.
United Press Association—By EleoVrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 12th, 11.25 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 12. The Senate ratified the Alaskan Boundary Treaty after come slight opposition. The treaty provides for the dispute between Canada and the United States over the delimitation of the Alaskan boundary being referred to arbitration. It was feared that the American Senate would decline to ratify the treaty, but evidently wiser counsels have prevailed, and a dispute of thirty years' standing is now on a fair way towards being amicably settled.
