The Seventh Contingent having been greatly complimented by Lord Kitchener, C>hen lie personally addressed them a few days later, and General De Wet, in his "Memoirs" having admitted the n-trit as one of his " toughest experiences ' during the campaign, 1 think our leading citizens sho-ild give the promoters some assistance in making the celebration a success.
