Saturday. At four o'clock this morning a smart shower fell, and thi s delayed work for some time. Cutts was the first to commence with Tomorrow and Win'dwhisHe, who were sent six furlongs. The first-named held her companion safe all the way, and finished up well •within hcTself in lmin 20sec. This ffallop was done on the plough, which wae a little sticky, and nearly every gallop in tho morning was done on tho &amo track. Sonacrled ran seven furlongs on the plough in lmin 33sec. _ Teroelet ran a mile on the plough in lmin 52seo. Cannie Chiel ran a mile on the plough in lmin 48£eeo. Ho was assisted in tho first half by Dirk, and in the last half by Aheriow. Ho held hie companions safe &.11 tho way, amd pulled up well. Clanburn and Narcissus r:n seven furlongs on thd grass in lmin 34sec, the former, who bad the best of tho weights, holding his companion very cafe. Covenant Maid accomplished six furlong on the grass in lmin 18&ec. Secret Society ran balf a. mile in 50} sec. Ordnance ran five furlongs up tho back, the last half-mile occupying C4Jsec. Calibre and Muscovite were associated over seven furlonze, and they finished together under a pull in lmin 33sec. Welbeck, by himself, ran half a mije in 52sec. Zealous and Lady Lillian participated: in an interesting gallop over a milo. and a quarter. Botfi mares strode freely all the way. and finished together in 2min QOsec. Gladsome had the advantage of Lokh over six furlong*, run in lmin 20 l-stih sec. Barbebte and Nell Gywnno finisfcW together at the end of five furlongs, m lmin Bsec. but Barbette could have been easily in front. Sophistic easily accounted for Roßcommon over five furlongs, run in lmin 7sec, on the grass. Lconore and Conee and Blue finished together at the end of six iilirloii««, »un in lain 20sec. Stepdancer, King Stork, and The Mohican ran six hirlonga on the plough in lmin 20seo, tlie two former finishing in front Firet Shot, by himself, traversed six furlongs on the plough. Pallas galloped a, mile on the grass in lmin 48sec, and is looking well. Scottish liinetrcl ran a milo and a quarter in 2mis 16secT He was assisted in the first part of the journey •by. Artilleryman- and in the last part by Lavalette, who finished easily ia front at «?• i *^ c ' ae *' seven furlongs, which were covered in lmin 35sec. Ropa ran a mile in lmin. 52sec. Merry Maid and Antigone finished together at the end of six furlongs in lmin 23sec. The first five were recorded in lmin 7sec. After breakfast a number of horeee were worked, but not extended.
