(Received February Bth, 4.40 p.m.) LONDON, February 7. In a apeech at the Eighty Club'e banquet, Mr B. R. Wise, Attorney-General of New South Wales, said he regretted that Lord Lansdowne, contrary to the spirit of a resolution of the Premiers' Conference, failed to ascertain the views of Australia and Canada before making «n engiqtment with Germany regarding Venezuela. Australia waa much affected by German development in the Pacific.
