Jameson's EttttitainieTS, a new vaudeville organiraitjon, miccefsfiilly opened a season at the Oddfellows' Hail on Saturday evening. The hall was well filled, and the different, performers were warmly applauded/ by the audience. In the variety section Little Vera Kenxw>, who gave two songe and a dance, and '-Mir* Jennie Jchnrton, who sang "Madielaie," received particular marks of appreciation. Miss Ida Roslyn, Mr George. BcnLley, Mr Frank Hiitae, and Mr , Jack KoaroVwere also •encored for their .songs.- In the ■speciality tection of tho programme, Alberto, a skilM ctrai and card maniipulator, made Ill's reaippearance in Christehuroh, and exhibited some new and clever tricks. Sherwin, tbo musical tramp, who gave the star turn of the evening. demonstrated his musical dexterity by playing a number of air*'upon a variety of rnnnicaJ inuitnmienfa, ranging from a zcither to. hand bells. His imitation of the cbinue with a small- concertina was .particularly good. TOie performauce concluded with a numniber of the latcwt animated biogra.ph pjcturea. The same programma will b<? repeated to-night. On Friday a new item will be introduced in the shape of a comic singing competition. •
