HFDGE TRIMMINGS AND CYCLISTS.

TO THE EDITOB 01" THB PRESS. Sir, —Just about this time every year the thorn hedges round Hagley Park are cut. The trimmings are left where they fall on the roadside, and they soon get scattered right across the road, so that cyclists are continually getting their tyres punctured. I myself "have had five punctures within the'last ten days. Surely the Domain Board could see that the trimmings from the fences are either burned or thrown over the fence to the other side, instead of being leit on the road.— Yours, etc., E. F. STEAD.
