Colonel Rimington, of Rimington'a Scouts, testifying before Lord Elgin's Commission, expressed a high opinion of nearly nil the Colonial officers, and added that Australia,. New Zealand nnd Canada were able to supply enormous numbers of good cavalry, if the men were properly trained.
