ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
(FBXSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, February 5. A man named Nottingham, a tailor, attempted to commit suicide to-day. His partner suspected thai business matters were not all right, and got a search made of Nottingham's house, articles being found- which were supposed to belong to the busineee. A detective went out to see him, and heard a shot, Nottingham being discovered in a pool of blood with a bullet in hie head. The wound is not likely to prove fatal.
