There was a fair attendance at Tuesday , .* sale. The stock entry consisted of 25C0 sheep, 75 cattle, and 120 pigs. A flooded Ashley riv?r prevented many sheep coming forward, int-ludiiig- 1000 from north of the Waipara. Prices were:—Fat lamfae 12s 9d to 15s 6d. fat four-tooth wethers 16s to 18s. fut ewes 12s 6d to 14s, fat hogijets to 13s 6<l, store lanibe Es 6<l to 10s 6d, six ; and eigiit-tooth ewte to 15s, four and sixtooth ewes 15i 6d to 16s, ewes and lamb* fall counted) 43 lid to 6s 6d, four-tooth wethois to lSe 4d. Uattle—Beef equal ;o 25s per 1001b, fat steers to £8 ss, heifers £7 10s. dry cows £8 10s, springers £7 10s to £8 15«. young , cattle £3 15«, milch cowe £7 10s to £9 ss, aged sorts £3 f O £5, calves 265. Pigs—Baco&ers 30s to 52*. porkers 19s to 31s weaners 10s to 16e W, suckers 6s to 9s. Iα the produce yarcte prices were: Heavy sheepskins 3s 3d to 4/» 3d, medium do 2s' 3d to 2» 9d, pelte 5d to 10d,~ fat ljd per lb. wool 4£d to 7£d lb.
