BOXING ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Boxing Association was held at the Hereford Hotel last evening. Present —Messrs J. F. Grierson (chairman), C. 1. jjichman, D. Haniber, J. It. Evans, F. I. Cowiiebaw, A. X, Kiik, and W. G. Atack (hoewrary secretary). Apologies for abfieaee were received from Messrs P. Seiig, ■J , . W. Johnston and F. E. Jfr Atack reported that correspondence had passed between iiim.*e]f mid prominent boxing enthusiasts in \Vellingtou, Auuklaad, Wanganui and Duncdin, in regard to the advienolenees of establishing centres to control the sport in those towns, It was decided to commission Atauk to visit Wellington and Wanganui at his convenience and endeavour to establish centres there.
