Abbe Vafas, the Rector of Seils, near Toulouee, was ordered to be traneferred to another pariah for loving a beautiful girl, a landowner's daughter. The couple died together in the belfry, Abbe Vales hoWiag a crucifix, and the girl a rosary. Valw shot her, and then committed suicide.
