THEATRE ROYAL.
"The Night Birds of London ".waa repeated lost night at the Theatre Royal by the Anderson Dramatic Company, when there was a good audifence. To-night the pieoe will be placet for the last time, being replaced to-morrow evening by Buchanan's play of " The Mariners of Eagiand." Tins play ia said to be well written, and will be put upon the tftage m good style. In connection with this play 'Mr Andereori offers three prises of five guineas, three guineue, and one guinea respectively, for the best prise essays, open to all boys and girls under sixteen, attending schools or colleges in North Canterbury. Tire eubjeot of the •way is to be " Lord N«teon and the Battle at Trafalgar." All essays—which are not to eioeed 2000 words in length—must be cent in to the Theatre not later tban Saturd»y, January 31et.
