THE VOLUNTEERS.

♦ INFANTRY BATTALION CAMP. At the North Canterbury Infantry Battalion camp at the A. and P. Association's Show Grounds, Addington, the tents have not yet been pitched. The daily routine is as follows:—Reveille 5.30 a.m., parade 6 a.m., orderlks for rations 6.45 a.m., breakfast 7 a.m., tea 6.15 p.m., parade V p.m., guard mounting 9 p.m., fiiut post 9.30 p.m., last post 10 p.m. Sports will be held on Saturday. In the evening the men go out of camp, but they will return on Sunday, when, in the afternoon, the camp will be open to the public.
