OLD AGE PENSION CASES.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAMS.) OAMARU, January 26. To-day Major Ked'dell, S.M., cancelled the pension of Thomas Henry Nicholson, -who, it had been ascertained, was paying away in wages to a ploughman the sum •■{ £52* a year, an amount that, if it were pensioner's income, would disentitle him from receiving the pension. The application for cancellation was made by the Registrar. PALMERSTON NORTH, January 26. .-it the Pension Court to-day Mr Greenfield, S.M., made an order requiring the repayment of £11 ss, the amount of a peneion overdrawn by W. H. Tompkins, of Rongotea, and refused to renew tne pension at present payable to him.
