TV motion was agreed to unanimously. When the report of Mr A. t>. Dobeon, the City Surveyor, on the propo»ed water supply scheme was submitted, Cr. Gray said, seeing that a change had come over the spirit of their dream, it would be advisable to ipostpone consideration of the report until the result of the poll dn Sydenham on Greater Chrisicburch was announced. He moved that consideration of the report be deferred for « fortnight.

Cr. Samuels seconded the motion, wiich was agreed to.
