REMARKS ON MR CHAMBERLAIN RESENTED.
LONDON, January 25. A meeting of shareholders in Mr J. BRobinson's Company s'.rongly resented Mr Robinson's criticism of Mr Chamberlain. .Uγ Robinson left the meeting.
Mr Robinson, chairman of Robinson's South African Banking Company, addressing the shareholders about a fortnight ago, said that it wa,« impossible for Downing street to rule any portion of South Africa. He protested that there was too much Em-pire-building. Mr Chamberlain's policy ought to be one of give aud take. i"t would be long before Dutch loyalty was an active force.
