The Governors of the Marlborougli School further considered the Department's new regulations, providing for a system ol free st>condary education. In response to the Board's advertisement, the parents °t seventeen eligible children notified their willingness to .avail themselves of free places. As the present building cannot accommodate such an additional number, it was decided to inform the Department that the Kclu'iiK' would willingly bs adopted if the Government will grant a sum ofmoney sufficient to complete the building.
