BRITAIN TO REWARD THEIR LOYALTY.
CROWN L.VXDS IN THE TRANSVAAL.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 24th, 11.12 am.) CAPETOWN, January 23. Mr Chamberlain, responding to the complaints of the National Scouts, promised that their claims should have precedence over those of others- While the Government wa» anxious to forget everything unpleasant, it would never allow the Scouts to have cause to say that it proved a bad thing for them to stand by Great Britain. The report of the Transvaal Gold Commission recommends that all Crown lands not beneficially occupied should be opened for prospecting.
