In Mr Michael Davitt's book, "The Boer Fight for Freedom," some accomrt of Lyneh's doings in South Africa '* given. He is described as an Irish-Aus-tralian who had gone to the Transvaal a« war correspondent for "Lβ Journal" of Paris.
"He is a young man, aged about thirtyfive, tall, handsome, and accomplished. He is a graduate of the Melbourne University, and is in every sense, physically and intellectually, a worthy representative of the Australian-born eons of Ireland. .
